Abstract

This device prevents solidification of material for casting by inductively heating the feed pipe. The molten material is led from an oven or container through the pipe. The pipe is enclosed by one or more heating elements, which prevent solidification of the material. Break rings prevent the metal from setting in the pipe. The heater element may be driven at 50-200 Hz, or may also have a second frequency of 10-60 Hz which causes an inductive mixing and therefore improved warning.
