Abstract

The distance between the free ends (17,18) of the projections (5,6) is greater, while that between the one end (18) of the body (2) of the long component (2,5,6) and the free end (17) of the opposing projection (6) is less than the distance between the opposing lifting lugs. When the device (1) is placed on a container (13), the first projection which is somewhat longer than the other, is pushed into the corresp. lifting lug (14), and then the other projection (6) is inserted into the opposite lug. Movable lock components (9,10) are used to fix the device onto the top of the container, and are pivotably fitted on its body (2). A hand grip (10) is available, and is turned to effect locking. Once turned, the grip is central to a component which indicates the fixing position of the lock components.
