Abstract

The wound dressing has a primary outer layer (1) turned away from the wound which is fluid-tight, inside which is a fluid-absorbent layer (3) comprising a mixture of hydrocolloid and a soft polymer. On the side of the fluid absorbent layer (3) facing the wound is a further outer layer (5) which is fluid-permeable. The outer layer contains an elastic or soft film of porous material with open pores and an adhesive lining (7) on the outer side of the film facing the skin.
