Abstract

Each surface for pallets (3) has feed-in and feed-out sides which are opposite to each other and parallel. At least one picking section (10) extends between the two sides at the same level as the surface when components are to be picked from or fed on to the pallets (12) on that surface. Feed mechanisms (8) are arranged at the sides of the surface for pallets, which enable pallets (12) to be moved from the surface to the picking section.
