1526017 Ink jet recording inks DAI NIPPON TORYO CO Ltd and MATSUSHITA ELECTRIC INDUSTRIAL CO Ltd 30 Nov 1976 [5 Dec 1975 12 Nov 1976] 49849/76 Heading C4A An ink composition for ink jet recording comprises one or more than one water-soluble wetting agent, water, one or more than one watersoluble dye, and an oxygen absorber, and at ambient temperatures contains not more than 0À013 ml/ml of dissolved air and has a viscosity lower than 5 cps and a surface tension of 40 to 50 dynes/cm. The oxygen absorber is a substance which is capable of chemically reacting with oxygen, which is soluble in the ink and which does not form precipitates in the ink.
