Abstract

The invention relates to a process and device for the production of a plastic hose with a wick that is arranged in it and is longer than the hose, the latter being intended for watering flowers and the like. The hose 2 in question is intended to be wound on a reel 1 shaped like a regular polygon and having notches 5, which during the winding process come to lie straight in front of the corners 6 of the reel 1. As a result, the hose 2 wound up on the reel 1 forms straight parts 8 extending along the sides 7 of the reel 1 using the open ends situated in the corners 6.
