Description
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a turbine-driven hair clipper assembly which is connected to a suction hose connected to a suction source for air whereby a turbine in the hair clipper assembly is activated by an air-cutting device in the hair clipper for energy cutting.
According to the prior art, vacuum-driven constructions for cutting hair occur where these have a hollow body which defines a passage for air-desolation where the passage extends through this body which includes an inlet and an outlet. The outlet is adapted to communicate with a suitable power source. A cutting or cutting device including a stationary toothed cutting blade and an oscillating cutting blade is located at the inlet to the passage. In addition, such a hair clipper is equipped with a turbine arranged inside said body and operatively driven connected to the oscillating part of the cutting blade unit, where it is caused to oscillate by a driving connection between the cutting blade unit and the turbine when it is rotated by a flow of air through said passage.
U.S. Pat. No. 3,368,277 discloses an example of the aforementioned prior art for turbine driven hair clippers. In this document, the turbine that drives a cutting unit is arranged to suck cut hair through the turbine and transport cutting residues further through a suction hose to which the hair clipper is connected. These cutting residues can thereby be collected in a vessel through which air fl fate passes. However, it has been found that, in prior art devices, longer clipped hairs can accumulate at blades in the turbine and thereby cause a stop in the genom through the hair clipper. To remedy this, the hair clipper in the tribunal is further provided with blades with inserts in the turbine so that longer hairs that are cut further when passing the turbine are shortened and easier to pass further through the suction hose to the collecting vessel without forming lumps of hair that can stop. up fl fate in the suction hose.
[0003] Ytterligare känd teknik avseende luftdrivna hårklippare uppvisas i skrifternaUS8484853Bl och US20 l 8333876Al.Further known techniques regarding air-powered hair clippers are disclosed in the publications US8484853B1 and US201 8333876Al.
TEKNISK BESKRIVNING TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to a hair clipper assembly, hereinafter referred to as a hair clipper, which comprises a turbine driven by an air gap which passes through the hair clipper from an inlet where air is sucked in and passes the turbine to an outlet which is connected to a suction hose. The suction hose is in turn connected to a suction source for air, where the suction source includes a fl for creating an air fl through the suction hose. The hair clipper of the type mentioned here comprises a cutting tool which, for example, consists of a stationary toothed cutting blade and an oscillating toothed cutting blade of known type.
In this case, where the hair clipper comprises an assembly for haircut, the sieve differs from the corresponding known hair clippers of the corresponding kind in that the hair clipper according to the invention has a housing which on a part of the outer wall of the housing has a hood which is slidably arranged along the length of the hood. wall. Inside the housing, the turbine is arranged. Channels are arranged between the housing and its hood, where a first channel is opened when the hood is displaced in the direction of the front end of the housing, where the hair cutting tool is located. In this case, hair cut off through the first channel is sucked out via an opening in the form of a gap between the hood and the casing next to the cutting tool, after which air flow through the first channel for cut hair out via the turbine and further out through an outlet connected to a suction hose in a known manner , whereby the cut hair is transported to a collecting vessel arranged in connection with the suction hose. When the hood is retracted backwards along the housing in the direction of the suction hose, that first channel is closed at the same time as a second channel is opened. This second duct has a rear opening between the rear part of the hood and the housing where air is sucked in and forced through the turbine and out of the hair clipper via the suction hose.
If the hood of the hair clipper is retracted, i.e. pulled in the direction of the suction hose, then the second channel at its inlet is opened towards a rear environment of the hair clipper. As a result, hair cut by the cutting tool will not be sucked out via the hair clipper to the suction hose when the hood is retracted.
In this mode, i.e. when the hood is retracted, no hair can be sucked in through the first channel and out through the suction hose. The air is instead sucked in at the rear edge of the hair clipper and is carried forward along said second channel between the hood and the housing towards the inlet side of the turbine via a third opening arranged in the housing which is opened by moving an flap to the side when the hood is pulled back. The purpose of the method shown is to give the user the opportunity to quickly and easily close the extraction of hair when cutting long hairs of a client being treated. This significantly reduces the risk of clogging in the vacuum hose to occur through the formation of hair plugs at the turbine or vacuum hose. The possibility of using hair clippers where the operation takes place with the help of an air-powered turbine unit instead of with electricity is greatly increased with this demonstrated technology. The disadvantage of long hairs that create a stop to the air fate at the turbine suction hose has previously been a contributing factor to mistrust of the usefulness of air-powered hair clippers.

DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS In the following, a number of embodiments of the invention are described with reference to the accompanying drawings. The drawings only schematically show the principle of the device and do not claim to show in scale any proportions between different elements thereof.
The most essential elements of the hair clipper according to the invention are shown in figure 1. The hair clipper is referred to in its entirety by reference to 1. The hair clipper has a housing 2 which surrounds the inner elements of a cavity inside the housing 2. The rear part of the hair clipper has an outlet 3 for an air gap created by the hair clipper when the outlet 3 is connected to a suction hose ( not shown). At the front of the hair clipper, a cutting tool 4 is provided which is arranged across the front part of the housing 2 of the hair clipper and thus covers the cavity forward in the hair clipper towards the surroundings.
Inside the cavity of the hair clipper 1, a turbine 5 is arranged at the rear thereof. The turbine 5 is provided in a known manner with turbine blades 6 which force the turbine to rotate about its axis 7 when air flow passes through the turbine and its turbine blades. The shaft 7 is centrally mounted in a single wall 8 across the interior of the turbine. The wall 8 is provided with holes so that an air gap can pass through this wall 8. The turbine is located downstream of the wall 8 in the air gap which passes through the hair clipper when it is connected to a suction hose. Upstream of the wall 8 is the shaft 7 provided with a holder 9 to which an eccentric device 10 is connected. The eccentric device 10 is equipped at the front with an eccentrically placed pin 11, which means that this pin 11 moves in a known manner parallel to the shaft 7 and describes single-circle movement around the shaft 7. when it rotates. The pin 11 is connected to a crank-like element 12 which is further connected in its outer part to the cutting tool 4 to drive it. According to the exemplary embodiment, the drive is designed so that the crank-like element 12 causes an inner cutting blade 13 to oscillate relative to an adjacent stationary cutting blade 14 in the cutting tool 4.
The housing 2 is provided at its wall with a first l5 and a second air inlet 16. Both of these air inlets l5 and l6 are over-eyed by a hood l7 slidable along the housing which adjoins the wall of the housing 2 except at the front part of the housing 2 where a column 18 forms a first opening to a first channel 19 shown by the arrow for the direction of air in Figure 2 when the hood is moved to a front first position, which forms a first end position for the hood. The hood 17 also does not close tightly to the housing at its rear end 20 where a second opening 21 is formed between the rear end 20 of the hood 17 and the housing 2, where the hood has a rear, second position, which at the same time constitutes a second end position of the hood 17. .
Figure 2 illustrates in more detail with the aid of the arrow 19 the first channel through which air flow through the hair clipper 1 can be controlled. Air is sucked in, from an area taken adjacent teeth in the cutting tool 13, 14 of the cutting tool 4, through the gap 18 and further into the housing 2 through the first air intake 15. The air is then passed on through the perforated wall 8 and passes the turbine 5 on its way to the outlet The air flow through the first channel 19 is stopped from passing between the hood 17 and the housing 2 of a wall 22 which is an integral part of the hood 17 and closes tightly between the hood and the housing at its movement between the front and rear positions. A flap 23 which is also integrated with the hood 17 keeps the air intake 16 closed in this first position of the hood 17 so that the air flow cannot reach through this opening in the housing 2 when the first air duct 19 is kept open. In this front position of the hood 17, thus cut hairs as well as other dust in the air around the front part of the hair clipper 1 can be sucked out via the turbine to the suction hose which is connected to the outlet 3 by means of air through the first air duct 19.
When the user of the hair clipper wishes that hair cannot be sucked into the hair clipper and out via the turbine, he can easily arrange this by moving the hood 17 to the rear position. This can be arranged with a simple movement by pressing the hood backwards with one finger. Figure 3 shows the air fate that arises in this case. In this rear position of the hood 17, the front edge of the hood, a lip 24, connects to the housing 2. The gap 18 is thus closed, whereby no air can be sucked in here. When the hood 17 moves backwards along the housing 2, the flap 23 has been moved backwards and thereby opened the air intake 16. A second air duct has now been opened. This is shown as a single arrow 25 in figure 3. The air intake 16 now communicates with the second opening 21 of the rear end 20 of the hood and the housing 2, which means that the air flow following the second air duct has its intake at the rear part of the hood 17. This prevents at least most of the hair in the air around the hair clipper, and in particular longer hairs, from being sucked into it, thereby significantly minimizing the risk of airflow through the hair clipper.
The method of preventing suction of hair which may cause blockage in the air through the hair clipper 1 comprises that a second air duct 25 is opened by the user at the same time as a first air duct 19 is closed for suction of hair into the front part of the hair clipper at the cutting tool 4.
The air intake 21 for this second air duct is located in the rear part of the hair clipper.
