The present invention relates to a table top plate (1) comprising a supporting layer (3), a surface layer (5) and a sound absorbing layer (7) containing a cork material and arranged between the supporting layer (3) and the surface layer (5). The supporting layer (5) has a plurality of sound absorbing recesses(11).
