Abstract

The present invention provides for a wood pellet hopper with integrated means for an even supply of fuel to a burner for pellet-fired stoves or boilers.The hopper has a narrow fixed bottom (3) with a pellet outlet (6) between vertical or near vertical gables (5). Above the fixed hopper bottom (3) is a back- and forth moving sliding bottom (4) enclosed. The sliding bottom (4) has a pellet outlet (7) above which a divider (9) fixed to the hopper walls is arranged. Additional inner walls (5a, 5b) at the lower parts of the gables (5) form pockets (8a, 8b) for the movement of the sliding bottom (4).
