Abstract

Method (300) and control arrangement (110) of a transportation surveillance system (100), monitoring autonomous vehicles (105), for assisting a human operator in decision making concerning the monitored autonomous vehicles (105). The method (300) comprises detecting (301) an anomaly (160) within the transportation surveillance system (100); determining (302) a plurality of alternative actions to perform, in order to remedy, or at least reduce consequences of, the detected (301) anomaly (160); performing (303) a simulation of each of the determined (302) actions in a simulation model of the transportation surveillance system (100) comprising the detected (301) anomaly (160), to a predetermined future point in time; determining (304) outcome of each performed (303) simulation of the determined (302) actions, at the predetermined future point in time; and outputting (306) results of the determined (304) respective outcome to the human operator.(Publ.
