A vehicle (22) is provided with a control apparatus (28), in which location data of stumps (14) of harvested trees (12) are processed, and with a stump treatment device (24). By means of the location data the vehicle (22) fully or semi-autonomously moves the stump treatment device (24) to the stump (14), to grind, remove or treat it otherwise.Fig. 1
