Abstract
Föreliggande uppfinning avser en omvandlare (7) för ett kraftnät (1). Omvandlaren (7) innefattar ett flertal omkopplare, vardera innefattande ett elektronrör för högspänning. Föreliggande uppfinning avser även en kompenseringsanordning (5).(Fig. 1)

1. 0 15 20 25 CLAIMS L A voltage source converter (7) for a high voltage (1), a plurality of switching elements (8-1; 8-2), each switching power system the voltage source converter (7) comprising element (8-2; 8-3) (9). comprising a high voltage electron tube Z The voltage source converter (7) as claimed in claim 1, wherein each high voltage electron tube (9) is a cold cathode electron tube. 1 The voltage source converter (7) as claimed in claim 1 or 2, wherein the voltage source converter is a back-to-back converter. 4 The voltage source converter (7) as claimed in any of the preceding claims, wherein each high voltage electron tube (9) is modulated by means of pulse with modulation. i The voltage source converter (7) as claimed in any of the preceding claims, wherein the voltage source converter is a matrix converter. 6 The voltage source converter (7) as claimed in any of claims 1-3, wherein the voltage source converter is a multilevel converter. 7. The voltage source converter (7) as claimed in claim 6, wherein the multilevel converter is a three-level flying capacitor converter. 8. A compensating device (5) for a high voltage power system (1), the compensating device comprising: at least one voltage source converter (7) as claimed in any of claims 1-7, wherein the at least one voltage source converter (7) is controllable such that the compensating device can provide power compensation to the high voltage power system (1). 9 The compensating device (5) as claimed in claim 8, wherein the compensating device (5) is a STATCOM.
