Abstract
The present invention relates to a low alloyed high speed steel containing in weight-%: C 0.8-1.2 %, N 0-0.2 %, Cr 2-6 %, Mo 3-5 %, W 0-1.2 %, V 0-3 %, Nb 0-2 %, Si 0.7-1.7 %, balance Fe and normal occurring impurities, wherein Mo + Si < 6 in weight-%.
