Abstract

The invention refers to a plate heat exchanger comprising a plate package (1) with a frame plate (2) and a plurality of heat exchanger plates. The heat exchanger plates are provided beside each other and form a number of plate interspaces which comprise first plate interspaces for a first medium with a relatively low first working pressure, and second plate interspaces for a second medium with a relatively high second working pressure. Four ports (11-14) extend through the frame plate and the heat exchanger plates. The plate package comprises a first attachment member (30), which is located at a first short side (1 a) and a second attachment member (40), which is located at the second short side (1 b). The attachment members are positioned in relation to the centre axis (x) of the plate package and the ports in such a manner that forces caused by the difference between the first working pressure and the second working pressure are balanced.
