Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain an area for a control channel and an area for a speech channel in the case of making a speech impartially, even when failures occur in an antenna or a reception section by suppressing a transmission diversity gain in matching with number of antennas. SOLUTION: This radio base station device of the TDMA-TDD system for conducing transmission diversity is provided with an antenna monitor section 15 that monitors a system consisting of plural antennas selected in the case of selecting a speech channel, a reception section fault detection section 16 that monitors a system consisting of plural reception sections corresponding to an antenna that is capable of normal reception, and a transmission power control section 10 that controls transmission power by a transmission diversity gain depending on number of reception sections which connect to the antenna and number of the antennas capable of normal operation based on the output result of both the sections.
