Abstract

This invention concerns a table system comprised of at least three table units designed to be interconnected temporarily and with high flexibility so as to adapt to any changes in the need for a particular shape of the table surface. The table units will be interconnected temporarily with at least one locking device. A distinctive feature of this invention is that the edges of the tabletops are provided with at least one groove (11) featuring an essentially square or rectangular cross-section area and intended to be joined together via at least one tongue (12) in such a way that the heights of the interconnected tabletops are essentially on the same level.
