Abstract

The hip belt is for a rucksack which has a back plate and a body. Two shoulder straps are fastened to the upper and lower end parts of the back plate and a bent hip belt with an elongated belt part (21) is fastened to the back plate. At least one elongated stiff component runs in the hip belt longitudinal direction on the outside of the belt part and the back plate body (4a,4b) extends between the elongated stiff component and the belt part.
