Abstract

The invention refers to a hub unit (2) for an inline skate wheel (1) having a concentric bore, incorporating two axially spaced apart rolling bearings having a common inner ring (3), and a substantially sleeve-shaped socket (7) forming a housing with a seat for enclosing the outer ring (6) for a first one of the bearings, the socket having a flexible portion (7b, 7c) projecting axially from the seat for the first bearing to the other bearing, the socket (7) being insertable from one end of said bore, the end (7c) of the socket remote from said bearing seat having connecting means (9) adapted to be coupled to corresponding means (10) provided on a connecting bush (11), arranged to enclose the outer ring (6) of the other bearing and being insertable from the opposite end of the said bore.
