Abstract

The present invention relates to a frame (4) for an air filter unit comprising a filter package (1) and possibly at least one grid (2,3), said frame being built up of elongate elements (5) having flanges (7,8) along the long sides thereof. According to the invention the frame (4) is made of elements (5) of plastic material, each element (5) has a central stiffening rib (9) on the side thereof facing said filter package (1) in an assembled air filter unit. The invention also relates to an air filter unit comprising such a frame. Figure 1 for publication
