Abstract

Connection for detachably locking a handle to a tool such as a broom comprises a sleeve arrangement with spring loaded locking dowels (8) on the inner element (12) and radial locking grooves (3) on the outer element (2). Control buttons (10) which release the dowels and disengage the connection when pressed inward are located on the outside of the connection.
