Abstract

The equipment is for mixing a flow of a first medium in a main flow of a second medium. It comprises a device (9) for cross-sectional reduction in order to increase the speed of the main flow. Downstream of this device is a second device (15) which further increases the cross-section of the flow and a component for connecting a source of the first medium with an aperture in a mixture chamber (12) in the region between the two media, in order to aspirate the first medium into the mixture chamber. Further equipment (16,17) by-passes a part of the main flow past the mixture chamber for mixture with the flow of the mixture produced in the mixing chamber downstream of that chamber.
