Abstract

The device (1) is for carrying a load (2) on the back of a person (3) body (6) so that the center of gravity of the load (M) is behind the body of the person. It comprises a load support component (7) shaped to conform to the shape of the body of the person. It has at least one connecting point (9) connected with a torque absorbing component (8). - This component around a first connection on the connecting point has devices (10) for receiving part of the weight of the load. On the other side of the connecting point are devices (11) allowing one person to receive and to exert pressure force (F) for wholly or partially balancing the load torque around the connecting point.
