Abstract

The wrench includes a thin, rounded and completely smooth ring which is held against a recess in the narrow end of a smaller tubular tool and fixed against the tool when the chisel shaft in the wide end is inserted into the tool. When the chisel shaft is screwed towards the tool, the ring becomes fixed inside the latter. Torque is then used to screw the press screw and chisel shaft together. The ring can be released by pulling the chisel shaft out of the tool, leaving a flat and clearly visible ring held in place by a predetermined pressure.
