A gas and watertight ventilation head chamber (34) is located at least partly within an area (32) at risk from the gases and the ventilation head (28) is in communication with one or more ventilation pipes (22), either directly or indirectly via branch pipes (30). At least one air transport and drainage pipe (36) is connected to the chamber at one end and to a safe region at the other end.
