Abstract

The unit (1) comprises a height adjustable boom support with a boom (24) and protruding part (25). The boom support comprises a transmission beam (20) extending in the chassis cross-direction at a distance from the chassis when the unit is mounted on the rear end of the truck chassis (3). The beam is used to support the boom and protruding part extending at right angles to the beam, the latter being height adjustable and rotatable about an axis extending in the beam length direction using two actuators (22) extending between fastener devices (12, 16) on the chassis and beam.
