Abstract

The method involves generating m decision regions (32) in n-dimensional space of n variables (30) by artificial neural network (16), trained on a training set of n measured variables from m classification groups of typical patients. The values of n variables of present measurement set is related to m decision regions in n-dimensional space in order to indicate AMI characteristics. The set of n variables are measured to the AMI of a patient at one measuring time instance, where n is equal or greater than 2. The value of m is equal or less than 2. An Independent claim is also included for a decision support provision device.
