Abstract

The clamp comprises a box-shaped frame, a clamping piece bent into a U-shape with its arms extending into the frame, and a clamping device for moving the clamping piece in and out of the frame. Intermeshing teeth are provided on opposing sides of the clamping band and clamping piece. During use, the band extends between one of the frame side walls and one of the arms of the clamping piece, around the object and between the other frame side wall and the other clamping piece arm.
