Abstract

A work platform is secured to the end of a raisable boom via a holder comprising a first part (3) connected to the end of the boom and a second part (3) connected to the platform. The two holder parts can be moved in a vertical direction relative to each other and a sensor (22) is provided for measuring the downwards force generated during this relative movement, in order to measure the platform weight. The holder includes at least one slide with two opposing vertical rails (19) which can move in a vertical direction along guides (17) on a console. The slide is associated with the first part of the holder and the console is associated with the second part, or vice versa. The rails and guides cooperate with the aid of a V-shaped guide device.
