Abstract

A method for transmitting data from at least one sensor (6-8) to a control appliance (1), in which for each sensor a respective line, especially a two-wire line (5), is used for the transmission of data. The sensor (6-8) receives electrical power for its drive from the control unit (1) via the respective line (5). The sensor (6-8) transmits a status identification and sensor values as data to the control unit (1). Independent claims are given for the following: (A) A device used for carrying out data transmission method. (B) A sensor used in a device used for carrying out the data transmission method.
