Abstract

At least one reverse osmosis step (4, 5) is used to increase glycol concentration prior to an evaporation step (6) in which water is removed. A method for recovering glycol from a mixture predominantly comprising glycol and water comprises the following steps : (a) at least one reverse osmosis step in order to increase glycol concentration to a suitable level ; and (b) evaporation until the glycol concentration reaches a standard use level.
