Abstract
The present invention relates to a device and a method for generating ozone in exposing air or oxygen (6) for high tension voltage in an ozone generating device (1) comprising at least one unit (9) have plane or cylindrically formed ceramic elements (4, 4') with electrodes (2) and an earth plane (3) situated outside said elements. In said device (1) and according to the method the air and oxygen (6) respectively, which surrounds the elements (4, 4'), is exposed to an over pressure of about 2,5 atmosphere gauge during the generation of ozone (5) at the same time as the cooling liquid (7), which is situated in the cooling device (8), is exposed to an over pressure, which at least extends to the same value as that of said air and oxygen respectively.
