Abstract
The invention relates to a method for connecting a fibre optic cable (120) to a light guide (110) on a substrate (100),according to which method an end (125) of the fibre optic cable is first placed in contact with the substrate, after which the light guide (110) is arranged around the end (125) of the fibre optic cable. The light guide (110) is suitably placed in contact with the end (125) of the fibre optic cable in a condition in which the light guide still requires curing, and the light guide (110) is preferably placed in contact with the end (125) of the fibre optic cable in the form of a paste.
