Abstract

The electrically driven vehicle is for personal and other transport, both indoors and outdoors and has a backwardly open frame construction issuing into two rear frame components. It is maneuverable by a driver standing on it or walking between the two rear frame components. The vehicle is provided with at least four wheels, of which two or more have a driving function. Each wheel is directly driven by a low-speed motor integrated in the wheel nave, the rotor of which is directly connected with or forms part of the wheel, or is driven by a motor integrated in the wheel, connected with the wheel by an intermediary gearing and/or transmission. Each of the rear frame components is provided with a lowerable or pivotable platform, which allows the driver to stand on the platforms to maneuver the vehicle or to walk behind the vehicle with the platforms in a non-obstructive position.
