Abstract

The present invention relates to a device for controlling a movement pattern of at least one operational unit (14, 17) connectable to and from, respectively, at least one runner device (8) or the like, reciprocating in the longitudinal direction thereof, whereby the device comprises at least one hydraulic system (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) having at least one hydraulic working cylinder (1), connected to said runner device (8) or the like, and at least one control system (6, 6.1, 6.2, 6.3). The device is among other things characterized in that said runner device (8) or the like is provided with coupling means (12a, 12b) for connection of said operational unit (14, 17), and that said control system (6, 6.1, 6.2, 6.3) is designed and connected to said hydraulic system (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) in such a way that said runner device (8) or the like can be given at least two different lengths of stroke of the essentially linear reciprocating motion thereof. The present invention also relates to a method of achieving at least one rest position in connection with essentially linear movement in steps.
