Abstract

The handle is connected to the tiller extension via a screw thread joint with an axial stop to prevent the handle and tiller extension from becoming unscrewed from each other. The handle can be provided with an axially movable fixing sleeve, or the handle is axially movable and can be fixed into position on the tiller extension, the latter being connected to the tiller by a screw thread joint, or the handle can be secured to a telescopic tiller extension with alternative screw thread joints. Alternatively, the handle has a single spiral groove and is both rotatable and can be moved and fixed in an axial direction relative to the tiller.
