Abstract

The antenna is for fitting on the roof of a vehicle and is arranged on a bottom plate (2) which together with the vehicle roof forms a capacitor for earthing high frequency signals. The bottom plate also supports a cover (3) and is made of metal. The dielectric used in the capacitor is a rubber material which is part of a base arranged on the vehicle roof. The antenna is arranged for terrestrial radio communication. The cover fitted on the bottom plate has a through passage (4) for location of a cable. The arrangement provides for at least two different antennas (5,6,7) to be installed.
