Abstract
The present invention relates to a manifold (1) which has pipe elements (2, 3) made of sheet metal, at least two inlets which each ae adapted to connect the manifold to a cylinder head of an engine (M), and at least one outlet which is adapted to connect the manifold to a turbocharger (T). Each inlet and outlet are surrounded by an inlet flange and outlet are surrounded by an inlet flange and an outlet flange (6, 7, 8), respectively. The outlet flange (8) constitutes part of a bracket which is adapted to support the turbocharger. The manifold is characterised in that each pipe element has a common outlet for several inlets, that the bracket is an angle bracket (9) which is welded together with the respective inlets andoutlets, and that at least one of the inlet flanges (7) constitutes part of said bracket.
