Abstract

The snow scooter has at least one drive belt and steering devices (4, 5) located on the outside and immediately front of the belt. The scooter bodywork (2) is supported by the belt and a cross-beam (6) located in front of the belt. The ends (7, 8) of the beam are supported by the steering devices via support axles (9, 10). The belt has a spherical cross-section and both the belt and bodywork are pivotally connected to the beam. Angled struts (11, 12) pivotally connect the bodywork to the steering devices in front of the beam. As the scooter turns, the bodywork, drive belt and steering devices are tilted at an angle adapted to the turning angle.
