Abstract

A multiple-band antenna (11) consists of a continuous trace of electrically conductive material and the antenna is connected by a connector (12) to the radio circuitry (9) provided on a printed circuit board (10) in a mobile telephone. The trace has a first conductive portion (13) in a first plane and a second conductive portion (15,16) in a second different plane. AN Independent claim is included for a portable telecommunication apparatus.
