Abstract

Feed-forward linearized power amplifier unit comprising a signal cancellation loop (SCL) and a distortion cancellation loop (DCL), each loop comprising an amplifying branch and a time delay branch, respectively, wherein the power amplifier unit is provided with an input and an output. A measurement output is arranged at the output of the first summation point of the SCL, adapted to be used when performing a distortion cancellation loop (DCL) test step, and that a remotely controllable switch is arranged in the time delay branch of the signal cancellation loop, adapted to be opened when performing a distortion cancellation loop (DCL) test step. The invention also comprises a method in a power amplifier unit.
