Abstract

An antenna device (1) for use in a portable radio communication apparatus comprises a dielectric substrate (3) having a main surface (5), and a conductive antenna pattern (7) arranged thereon. The substrate includes a hollow member (9), and the antenna device comprises further a conductive pin connector (13) arranged to be slidably movable in the hollow member, and a conductive compression spring (11) arranged within the hollow member, said spring being connected to the antenna pattern and exerting a force on the pin connector so as to achieve a spring-loaded antenna connector for transfer of RF energy.
