Abstract
An antenna device (1) comprises a support structure (10), a first internal antenna (20) and a second extendable/retractable whip antenna (30). The second antenna is slidingly mounted in an electrically conduc-tive tube (36,38) connected to the internal antenna. The tube functions both as a connector for the whip antenna with the second antenna in an extended end position as well as a matching means for the internal antenna. The tube can also function as a radiating element. Operation in more than one frequency band can thus be supported.
