Abstract
يتعلق الاختراع الحالي بثقب بئر منحرف أو أفقي محفور في تكوين جيولوجي بمائع متعدد المراحل يحتوي على غاز بواسطة لقمة حفر دوارة مثبتة في طرف عمود الحفر من ناحية أسفل البئر. تتحرر أجزاء من الغاز إلى ثقب البئر أثناء الحفر. تنبعث موجات صوتية أثناء عملية الحفر إلى التكوين الجيولوجي من داخل ثقب الحفر بواسطة مجموعة من الأجهزة الباعثة للموجات الصوتية المتصلة بعمود الحفر. تنتقل الموجات الصوتية المنعكسة المستلمة بواسطة مجموعة من وسائل الاقتران الصوتي المصمتة بمجموعة من المستشعرات الصوتية الملامسة لوسائل الاقتران الصوتي المصمتة. تستقبل المستشعرات الصوتية الموجات الصوتية المنعكسة. تتحدد الخصائص الصخرية للتكوين الجيولوجي بناًء على الموجات الصوتية المنعكسة المخففة بقدر قليل التي ترسلها وسائل الاقتران الصوتي المصمتة إلى المستشعرات الصوتية. يتم تعديل اتجاه ثقب البئر بناًء على الخصائص الصخرية المحددة. شكل 3ب.
