Abstract
يتعلق الاختراع الحالي بطريقة لتحديد سطح بيني لمائع في قناة conduit يتم فيها تهيئة مائع أول ومائع ثاني على الأقل للمرور، حيث تتضمن إرسال إشارة صوتية إلى القناة عبر مقياس تدفق فوق صوتي ultrasonic flow meter مقترن بالقناة. يتم استقبال إشارة صوتية منعكسة في مقياس التدفق فوق الصوتي ويتم تحديد سعة الإشارة الصوتية المنعكسة. يتم حساب الانحراف المتوسط والمعياري standard deviation للسعةamplitude ، وإذا تجاوز الانحراف المعياري قيمة حدّية threshold محددة سلفًا، يتم تحديد أن السطح البيني للمائع موجود في القناة. الشكل 1.
