Способ получения высокооктановых бензиновых фракций и/или ароматических углеводородов C6 - C10 из углеводородного сырья и/или кислородсодержащих органических соединений путем его контактирования при повышенных температурах и избыточном давлении с катализатором или контактирования сырья в присутствии водородсодержащего газа с катализатором, содержащим цеолит, в том числе со структурой ZSM-5, в крсталлическую решетку которого входят атомы алюминия и железа, с последующим разделением продуктов контактирования на газообразные и жидкие фракции, отличающийся тем, что стадию контактирования осуществляют с катализатором, содержащим цеолит ZSM-5 или ZSM-11 общей эмпирической формулы (0,02 - 0,32)Na2O · Al2O3 · (0,01 - 1,13) Fe2O3 · (27 - 212) SiO2 · kH2O или (0,02 - 0,32)Na2O · Al2O3 · (0,01-1,13)Fe2O3 · (0,003 - 2,32) ΣЭnOm · (27 - 212) SiO2 · kH2O, где ΣЭnOm - один или два оксида элементов II, III, V, VI, и VIII групп, или с катализатором, содержащим указанного состава цеолит, модифицированным элементами или соединениями элементов I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII и VIII групп в количестве 0,05 - 5,0% масс.1.
