Abstract

FIELD: electrical equipment of rotatable members; anti-icing systems of rotatable parts of flying vehicles, windmills and windmotors. SUBSTANCE: proposed system has electric heating elements built in rotatable member and multi-phase synchronous generator connected with them. Generator rotor with armature windings is fitted on common shaft with rotatable member. Excitation winding is connected with power supply source through control unit and mode setting unit. System may be also provided with rotatable member speed sensor and flaw monitoring unit. EFFECT: enhanced reliability; reduced maintenance expenses due to avoidance of current collector and reduced consumption of power.

The proposed system may also include a rotational speed sensor and a control unit for system malfunction. The proposed system improves reliability and reduces maintenance costs by eliminating the brush-contact current collector. The system also allows you to reduce power consumption from the power source.
