Said aqueous binder materials are used in aqueous compositions for coating of metal surfaces. Mentioned above compositions comprise aqueous binder materials, metal powder (particularly, zinc powder), if necessary, silicium dioxide having surface at least 50 m/g and, if necessary, water. EFFECT: improved quality.
