Nutrient medium for isolation of listeria containing casein hydrolyzate, dry nutrient broth, urea, potassium tellurite, agar-agar and distilled water, characterized in that, in order to increase the sensitivity of the medium, it additionally contains urea as an inhibitor of concomitant microflora and as a growth stimulant , and the optimally selected concentration of tellurite potassium contributes to further suppression of the growth of extraneous microflora, but does not inhibit the growth of Listeria, while the quantitative ratio of the components in the medium de the following, g / l:
Agar-Agar - 15.0 -16.0
Casein hydrolyzate - 7.5 - 8.5
Dry nutritious broth - 7.5 - 8.5
Urea - 39 - 41
Potassium tellurite 2% water-glycerin solution - 1.8 - 2.2 ml
distilled water - Up to 1 liter
pH 7.2 - 7.4.
