Изобретение относится к области электроэнергетики и может быть использовано для сигнализации начала обледенения проводов воздушных линий электропередачи. Цель - повышение надежности за счет снижения числа ложных срабатываний сигнализатора начала обледенения и сигнализация об интенсивности гололедообразования. Сущность: сигнализатор начала обледенения, содержащий источник питания 9, две изолированные друг от друга группы рабочих элементов 1 и 2, на разные группы которых через регистрирующий прибор 8 поданы разные потенциалы от источника питания 3, и нагревательные элементы, дополнительно содержит изоляционные рамки 1 и 2. Обе группы рабочих злементов выполнены в виде тонких проволочек 3 - 6, которые закреплены в подшипниках 7. Проволочки 3 - 6 одновременно являются нагревательными элементами.
