Abstract

FIELD: mechanical engineering, diesel engines; cleaning exhaust gases from harmful components and soot. SUBSTANCE: proposed catalytic converter has housing with double walls and thermal insulation in between, inner and outer cross partitions, end face covers, inlet and outlet branch pipes, flanges, catalytic filters, temperature compensators, and reactor. Reactor inner space is divided by partitions into several spaces one of which is designed for distribution of gas flow, the other, for cleaning gases by filters and the third one, for uniting flow of cleaned gases. Tube is fitted in partition between gas distribution spaces which is extension of intake branch pipe. Spring-loaded valve opening into pass-trough branch pipe is installed in end face portion of tube. Pass-through branch pipe is arranged in longitudinal partition between spaces of where gases are cleaned by filters, between cross partitions dividing gas flow distribution spaces, gas cleaning spaces and gas flow uniting spaces. Moreover, catalytic converter has houses on which cermet filters are secured. One part of filters contains high temperature catalysts, and other part, low temperature catalysts. Cermet filters can be made also in form of hollow cups with segment-shaped bottoms in cross section. Rotary tubular sector with port, measuring 0.48-0.50 of tube cross section and port, measuring 0.70-0.75 of tube cross section are located over entire length of tube installed in partition between gas flow distribution spaces. EFFECT: increased service life of catalytic converter, improved quality of exhaust gas cleaning from nitrogen oxides and decreased smoking and toxicity.

Использование: в двигателестроении для очистки отработавших газов дизелей от вредных компонентов и сажи. Сущность изобретения: предлагаемый каталитический нейтрализатор содержит корпус с двойными стенками и теплоизоляцией между ними, внутренние и поперечные перегородки, торцевые крышки, входные и выходные патрубки, фланцы, каталитические фильтры, температурные компенсаторы, реактор, внутренняя поверхность которого разделена перегородками на несколько полостей, одна часть из которых предназначена для распределения потока газов, другая часть полостей - для осуществления очистки газов через фильтры и третья часть - для объединения потока очищенных газов, причем в перегородке между полостями распределения потоков газов установлена труба, являющаяся продолжением впускного патрубка, в торцевой части которой установлен подпружиненный клапан с выходом в пропускной сквозной патрубок, размещенный в продольной перегородке между полостями очистки газов через фильтры, между поперечными перегородками, разделяющими полости распределения потоков газов, очистки газов через фильтры и объединения потока. Кроме того, нейтрализатор снабжен бонками, на которых закреплены металлокерамические фильтры, одна часть которых выполнена с содержанием высокотемпературных катализаторов, а другая часть - с содержанием низкотемпературных. Металлокерамические фильтры могут быть выполнены в виде полых стаканов с днищами, представляющие в сечении сегменты. На трубе, установленной в перегородке между полостями распределения потока газов, размещены по всей длине поворотный трубчатый сектор с окном, составляющим 0,48 - 0,50 поперечного сечения трубы, и окно, составляющее 0,70 - 0,75 поперечного сечения. Технический результат: позволяет повысить ресурс катализаторов в 1,50 - 1,75 раза, качество очистки отработавших газов от окислов азота на 25 - 30%, а также снизить дымность и токсичность дизелей на 65 - 68%.Usage: in the engine industry for cleaning exhaust gases of diesel engines from harmful components and soot. In addition, the converter is equipped with bonnets on which ceramic-metal filters are fixed, one part of which is made with high-temperature catalysts and the other part with low-temperature ones. Ceramic-metal filters can be made in the form of hollow glasses with bottoms, representing segments in section. On the pipe installed in the partition between the gas flow distribution cavities, a rotary tubular sector with a window of 0.48 - 0.50 of the cross section of the pipe and a window of 0.70 - 0.75 of the cross section are placed along the entire length. Effect: allows to increase the catalyst resource by 1.50 - 1.75 times, the quality of purification of exhaust gases from nitrogen oxides by 25 - 30%, and also reduce the smoke and toxicity of diesel engines by 65 - 68%.
